Though I entered the field as a graphic designer, my experience with working at an early-stage agency encouraged me to learn other skills that were necessary to fill gaps in our small creative department. The tools I use on the daily include Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe XD, and Premiere Pro.
I graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences and worked as a medical scribe in an emergency department prior to transitioning into a creative career. With my education in biology and experience working in a healthcare environment, I've gained the unique ability to bridge the subjects of medicine and visual communication. Over the past 3 years, I've worked on dozens of projects for companies in industries outside of the medical field, however opportunities that lie at the intersection of medicine and art/design genuinely excite me the most. I hope to train as a medical illustrator in the near future to promote diversity in the field of medical illustration and create visuals that improve patient education.
